October is the perfect time of year to attend the Lantern Festival in Jinju, South Korea. Such a fantastic way to immerse yourself in food, art, culture, and more food! I took a bus to Jinju and spent the afternoon wandering the shores and canvas art pieces. Themes from the recognizable (Beauty and the Beast) to rabbits and dragons spanned the river banks.
The festival flowed into an adjacent park where children played, skits were performed, and folks milled about.
And of course, food galore!
As the sun set, the lanterns began to alight and glow – a gorgeous sight!
